RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Our RENÉ MOURIS product is warranted by RENÉ MOURIS LA MAISON DE LUXE SAS. for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty (the “International Warranty”) The International Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects including watch’s movement, hands and dial (“Defects”). Any Defects product or parts will be free of charged for repaired or replace in RENÉ MOURIS sole discretion if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. Upon expiration of the Limited Warranty period, any repairs or replacement will be subject to a service charge.
The International Warranty: is independent of any warranty that may be provided by the seller, for which he carries sole responsibility; does not affect the purchaser’s rights against the seller nor any other mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the seller. RENÉ MOURIS’s customer service ensures the perfect maintenance of RENÉ MOURIS product. If the product needs attention, rely on an official RENÉ MOURIS dealer or an authorized RENÉ MOURIS Service Centre: they can guarantee service according to RENÉ MOURIS’s standards.
The International Warranty does not cover: the case, strap, bracelet, crystal, crown and the life of the battery, normal wear and tear and aging (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration of the colour and/or material of non metallic straps and chains, such as leather, textile, rubber; peeling of the plating); any damage on any part of the product resulting from abnormal / abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), incorrect use of the product and non-observance of the use directions provided by RENÉ MOURIS; indirect or consequential damages of any kind resulting from e.g. the use, the non-functioning, the Defects or the inaccuracy of the RENÉ MOURIS product; the RENÉ MOURIS product handled by non-authorized persons or disqualified 3rd party repaired centre (e.g. for battery replacement, services or repairs) or which has been altered in its original condition beyond RENÉ MOURIS’s control. Any further claim against RENÉ MOURIS e.g. for damages additional to the above described warranty is expressly excluded, except mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the RENÉ MOURIS.
The International Warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is dated of purchase, fully and correctly completed and stamped by an authorized RENÉ MOURIS dealer, accompany with original sales receipt or the printed online order confirmation from RENÉ MOURIS official website (www.renemouris.fr) or an invoice from authorized 3rd parties online store. (“Valid Warranty Certificate”).
Customer required to register the product warranty via the Warranty Registration page by completing the form and submitting Valid Warranty Certificate on our website. We will issue a warranty number once the submitted documentations has been reviewed. Please make sure the information you provide is valid.
To have replacement/repair covered under this warranty performed, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your Warranty number which can be grant after you successfully registered your product on the warranty registration page You need to register your product warranty before submit your claim and in this message, you need to specify your name, Warranty number, and a detailed description of the issue and photos of the product to illustrate the descript issue. Customer may visit Return and Exchange Policy regarding the instruction of how to return to us or contact RENÉ MOURIS customer service centre via email at email@example.com for further clarification. Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of sending the product back to RENÉ MOURIS. If we cannot find any Defects described above, the product will be sent back to the customer.
In the following cases, please note that repair/replacements will be charged even during the warranty term.
Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake
Esthetical changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc.; on the case and/or crystal, alteration of the colour on the wristband and the peeling of the plating)
In event of the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten
repair/replacements the case, battery, strap, bracelet, crystal and crown or other parts that not covered by the International Warranty
Please note that we only stock spare parts for products that are in the current collection. We do not provide parts for models no longer sold. The movement, hands, dial, case, strap, bracelet, crystal, crown or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.
This warranty warrants that you can receive free repair or replacement in accordance with the terms set forth herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the Customer.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
Once the battery has been drained, we recommend that you contact an approved authorised RENÉ MOURIS retailer or any other qualified 3rd party repair centre, as they are equipped with the tools and apparatus required to carry out the work and the necessary checks in a professional manner. A worn-out battery should be replaced immediately in order to reduce the risk of leakage and consequent damage to the movement.
PRECAUTIONS AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Do not expose the product to sudden temperature changes (exposure to sunlight followed by immersion in cold water) or extreme temperatures [over 60°C (140°F) or below 0°C (32°F)].
Do not expose the product to intense magnetic fields such as loud-speakers, portable telephones, computers or refrigerators and other electromagnetic appliances.
Avoid thermal or other shocks as it may harm your product. In the event of a violent shock please have your product checked by an authorised RENÉ MOURIS retailer or check with RENÉ MOURIS customer service by fill out the Contact form on our Website.
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc., since they may damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
René Mouris timepieces are water resistant from 30 to 100 meters, as indicated on the case-back. This water resistance is guaranteed only when the crown is firmly pushed in or screwed in properly.
It is recommended to not to use the functions and settings of your watch when it is wet and DO NOT use the functions and settings while is immersed in water.
Clean the case and bracelet regularly using a soft cloth to prevent any corrosion caused by perspiration. All water resistant product can be cleaned with a toothbrush and soapy water, and then dried with a soft cloth. After being worn in the sea, the product must be rinsed with warm fresh water and then dried completely.
A well sealed watch will transmit your body warmth to the air inside your watch, therefore if suddenly plunged into cold water, the sudden cooling on the outside of the watch can cause condensation, usually in the form of a mist of small droplets under the glass. This will normally evaporate after some time of wearing.
RENÉ MOURIS quartz or quartz chronographs are having the incomparable precision of quartz. Their power reserve is usually more than 2 years in continuous use. If you plan not to wear your quartz or quartz chronograph for several weeks or months, we would advise you to store it with the crown pulled out to the position that cuts the electrical power supply to the motor, thereby extending battery life considerably.
COLLECTION AND TREATMENT OF END OF LIFE QUARTZ WATCHES*
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed with household waste. It has to be returned to a local authorized collection system. By following this procedure you will contribute to the protection of the environment and human health. The recycling of the materials will help to conserve natural resources.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
RENÉ MOURIS policy is to ensure that our customers are satisfied every time they place an order on our Website. If you purchase RENÉ MOURIS product through our Website and unhappy with the product when you receive it or if you simply change your mind, by law customer in the French are entitled to cancel the order and must notify RENÉ MOURIS at to firstname.lastname@example.org within fourteen (14) days from the day of receiving the product. The returned product(s) must be in its original condition together with all the accessories (if any) and, insofar possible. The refund of successful claim will direct to the credit/debit card used to place the original order within 14 days of the receipt by us of proof of the return of the items once we have inspected the returned item and are satisfied that it has been returned to us in Original Condition; otherwise, the return will not be honoured or you will be charged a restocking fee depending on the condition.
If customer placed an order through our authorized retail store and unhappy with the product(s) after the purchase or if you simply change your mind, customer must return the product(s) back to the store whereas you purchased the product and the rights different upon the law of a customer at his/her place of purchase and the right may not apply to you.
RENÉ MOURIS try to select and package the items as well as possible to ensure they arrive in good condition. Nevertheless, if customer purchase RENÉ MOURIS product through our Website and you find an item arrives damaged or with Defects, or is not what you ordered, we will repair or replace it free of charge or provide a full refund as in our sole discretion.
Customer must notify us the issue of the product by email us at to email@example.com within fourteen (14) days from the day of receiving the product(s) in order to obtain the consent from us in written.
We will inspect the returned item and are satisfied that it has been returned to us in the condition it was in the Original Condition or approved the product is Defect, we will, in our sole discretion, to repair or replace product and send back to you with free shipping charge including if a returned product we cannot find any faulty as described, or if customer is entitled to a refund for the Defect product, The refund will direct to the credit/debit card used to place the original order within 14 days of the receipt by us of proof of the return of the items once we have inspected the returned item and approved the product is Defect.
PURCHASED FROM AUTHORIZED RETAIL STORE OR OTHERS
If customer placed an order through our authorized retail store or 3rd Party online platforms including, but not limited to Amazon, ebay and Etst, regardless the reason of Unwanted Products or Faulty Products, customer must return the product(s) back to the store whereas you purchased the product from. This right is governed and interpreted in accordance with French law without reference to the provisions concerning any conflict of laws and excluding the convention on the international sale of goods. Some states may have different policy, so period limitations mentioned may not apply to you. This policy gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

HOW TO RETURN UNWANTED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Please contact us to inform us of your wish to return products at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The product(s) must return to us within 14 days of the day of customer granted the consent from us (unless we agree otherwise).
The notice must contain the following information: your order number, your reason for the return and the name of the product you wish to return.
We will allocate you a RENÉ MOURIS logistic centre to return to and along with a Returns Authorisation number which must be included with the package to speed processing of your return.
Customer is responsible for the shipping cost of returned product(s) back to RENÉ MOURIS. If possible, please use a secure delivery method which requires signature or Special Delivery
Product(s) lost in transportation will not be compensated for.
Return against cash on delivery is not accepted.
Return without a Returns Authorisation number is not accepted.
The returned product(s) must be in its Original Condition together with all the accessories (if any) and, insofar possible; and accompanied by the original valid warranty certificate.
